Total bastards...

Some are human, some were human, some are monsters, some are demons, all of them are indisputable bastards

  CRITTERS

AKA:

Krites

Were bastards in:

Critters 1-4

So who the Hell are they?...

The Critters or Krites as they are more

correctly referred to by the interstellar

bounty hunters assigned to wipe them

out are an alien race of ravenous lethal

hedgehogs, able to do anything a

hedgehog can do, like erm… roll into a

ball. Admittedly, not particularly terrifying

but they still became popular enough to

star in 4 films, with the fourth one set

entirely in space.

Oh, and they’re not in any way a rip-off

of Gremlins either. No sir, not at all.

That’s not a knife…

The Krites are gifted with a mass of sharp teeth bristling in all directions from their much too large mouths as well as hundreds of spines on their back which they can fire at people’s faces and stuff.

Why, for the love of God why?!!?!

These furry little guys are just hungry, really, really hungry. They live to eat and have a particular taste for human flesh apparently.

So what’s the damage?

Across the span of their four filmic adventures the Critters munch their way through a small rural American town (twice –the same one unfortunately), an apartment building and a space station. Not bad for little fellas.

It’s a million to one chance but it might just work…

Being your basic hungry animal, even if it is an alien one, critters are actually fairly easy to get rid of just burn ‘em, blow ‘em up or shoot ‘em. Of course it doesn’t hurt if you have a couple of shape-changing bounty hunters on your side armed with space bazookas.

Words of wisdom

Munch munch munch…
