THE SHOOT

This weekend (14th/15th October) was the shoot for Bad Juju. Taking place in the crypt of St Patrick's Cemetery in Leyton (where Jack the Ripper victim, Mary kelly was interred) the shoot was all in all a big success. With no distractions from any unwanted spectres, apparitions or demonic forces we made good time and had a blast too.

Many thanks to all cast and crew who made it such a great and productive weekend.

I've just begun editing this thing and though it's pretty complicated and there's gonna be a fair few headaches before I'm done I'm confident that this is going to be one kick-ass film! Let's hope the judges think so too huh?

Here's some nice pictures form the shoot i thought you might like to have a look at: Many thanks to Pete Wallington who took them.

This is the candle pentagram which was our basic set.

look how pretty it is! Doesn't stay that way long though...

The wonderful and talented cast.

From left - Jaqui adams, Karl Best, Rob and Gill Pryce (who also co-produced)

Centre and covered in blood is Leilani Holmes.

Leilani Holmes (playing the character of Mel) has a bad day.

Our demons in the dark make a rare appearance much to Karl's misfortune.

This is what happens to cast members who disagree with my direction.

Hell yeah.

That's me in the black doing a spot of candle direction. Closest to camera is Director of Photography, Hugh Macdonald.
